I have bought loo seats and various other things in the past from the big DIY superstore with the orange and black branding and its usually rubbish and doesn't last 5 minutes.This however was money well spent. This is by far the easiest toilet seat I have ever fitted (not that I have extensive experience). Why didn't they have these when I bought the toilet.The seat itself has a quick release to make cleaning simple, soft close is fantastic and the seat has a bit of an angle which makes it strangely comfortable.Would highly recommend it, especially if you've got a toilet that is really difficult to reach the bottom fittings (like I have)

I replaced my old toilet seat mainly because the quick release not longer worked. I thought I would do some research to see what was available. The Croydex Eyre seem to have all that I was looking for and had a better spec. than my old one. When I pickedI replaced my old toilet seat mainly because the quick release not longer worked. I thought I would do some research to see what was available. The Croydex Eyre seem to have all that I was looking for and had a better spec. than my old one. When I picked it up the weight of the package told me this was a quality product. When it came to installation it didn't disappoint with very good instructions. It looks great as well and due to the larger contact area and curvature of the seat it is very comfortable.

Good quality product. I'm a real novice but I had no trouble with it. It fitted perfectly due to the adjustable fittings. It was very easy to fit - just look at the pictures on the box and you are sorted. One small niggle is that I think it would have beeGood quality product. There were only ones that fitted below.Very quick delivery and arrived in pristine condition. I was also kept informed about the time of the delivery too. Very happy overall.

Discovered that a toilet seat replaced not many years ago had broken and whilst looking for a replacement went for this one due to its good rating. Very easy to install compared to some. Toilet seat itself is profiled which I hadn’t seen before. Nice touch. Quality materials. Soft close is perfect. Lid/seat unclips quickly and easily for cleaning. I suppose one occasionally gets what one pays for. WoVery easy to install compared to some. Got this seat today and Im very impressed it was so easy to fit. Instructions were clear and easy to follow only took about 15 minutes to fit. Feels very nice quality. Fittings for top or bottom fixture included. I used top fitting as existing lower fittings were difficult to access. Instructions are fine but read carefully, methodically and at least twice. I used very small smear of lubricant tFeels very nice quality. Fittings for top or bottom fixture included. I used very small smear of lubricant to ease rubber fittings thru holes, worked perfectly. Everything works well. Couldn’t find the release button at first as its tucked behind seat fitting not in front. Doesn’t take more than about half hour from start to finish and i work quite slowly All in all i am well pleased with the product.

Easy to fit, once drilled out screws from old one that had rusted into nuts.Good to have option of top fit as access to bottom would not have been easy. Everything you need to fit the new seat was in the bag. Solid fix, no movement. But this product deserves a good reviewI am a maintenance manager and have fitted 100's of toilet seats over the years and this was by far theI honestly never write reviews which is silly considering i always check reviews of a product before purchasing. But this product deserves a good reviewI am a maintenance manager and have fitted 100's of toilet seats over the years and this was by far the best.Such easy instalation and the sticky pads means that it wont keep slipping and needing re-tightening which means i wont have to keep going back to it over the coming months and years

I spent a couple of hours researching this purchase because the last seat I bought from a well-known DIY store was hopeless. I was having to retighten the hinge attachment every few months. I was having to retighten the hinge attachment every few months. This seat was not only easy to fit, great instructions, two fitting methods, and all steel bolt and nut. The really great feature is the non-slip sticky pad. So far no movement. My daughter approved the quality and comfort as well as the slow close. I have given 5 stars. Well designed product.

This product deserves 5 stars even though the instructions are paranoid almost to the point of unhelpfulness! Just don’t forget to put cling film over the bowl immediately after cleaning the fixing sites (so you won’t have to go fishing for dropped parts)This product deserves 5 stars even though the instructions are paranoid almost to the point of unhelpfulness! Just don’t forget to put cling film over the bowl immediately after cleaning the fixing sites (so you won’t have to go fishing for dropped parts) and firmly click the hinges into the seat so they will not fall out into the pan before you can get them located and stuck in place! The fixings are so convenient that the fixing from ‘underneath’ is effectively a top fixing thanks to the Allen key and excellent tightening key supplied. Such good scope for hinge adjustment.

Used this to replace the original seat on a Bath Store unit. Just the right size, and works as needed. Smooth and firm closing operation and a good solid feel to the seat and lid.The sticky pads on the fittings are a good idea, but I found them more diffiUsed this to replace the original seat on a Bath Store unit. Smooth and firm closing operation and a good solid feel to the seat and lid.The sticky pads on the fittings are a good idea, but I found them more difficult to make them stick than the instructions would have you believe. Instructions state hold them in place for 20 seconds, but I found I had to hold them down for longer and apply a fair amount of pressure to get them to locate securely before screwing down. I had cleaned the surface with meths and dried thoroughly beforehand but despite this, they did not want to stick at first. it is now firmly fitted and the top-fitting washers seem to do the trick nicely. It's only been in place for a few days, but has been road-tested by the whole family and so far no accidents.I would recommend this product as an after-market replacement.

I was doubtful about 'Universal fit', however, this really is! Definitely recommend!

I am very impressed with how the seat fits the original Royal Doulton toilet in my modern house built in 1967.
