As iGood solid handrail, stainless steel mounting plate at either end with 3 x fixing holes, l used 50mm screws and rawl plugs "pity fixings are not supplied" l had to loosen the mounting plates using 6mm allen key as both plates needed turning slightly. As installing on tiled wall l made a couple of 2mm rubber gaskets to put behind the mounting plates, which were concealed by the chrome mounting plates caps. Comparing what was available for under £20 this was a bargain.Only just installed therefore the longevity given 4 stars as only time will tell.
